Case Study: Ensco 92 Drilling Rig Cleaning and Re-coating Pre-Load Tanks Location: Hartlepool During a scheduled shipyard visit amongst other planned activities there was an initial requirement to clean, remove the degraded existing coating and apply a new style soft coating (Clearkin Corrosion Master) to the internals of 2 x pre- load tanks with the aim of extending the tanks service life. This scope was then extended to include blasting and recoating of the additional mud pits, base oil and brine tanks.
