CASE STUDY CASE STUDY #9 Cambridge Signalling Project GRIP 1 & 2 Overview of Deliverables The Cambridge Signalling project is driven by the wire insulation degradation within Cambridge Relay Room, and by the National Operating Strategy (NOS). The NOS intends to streamline signalling processes by concentrating all signal personnel at 14 Rail Operating Centres (ROCs) across the nation. As part of this project wiring will be replaced, and, to maximise delivery efficiencies, the Cambridge, Dullingham and Bury St Edmunds interlocking’s shall be renewed.
