BUPA In response to their ESOS requirements for assessing energy e?ciency across the business, BUPA looked at ways to reduce their carbon footprint by 20% across each of their care home sites in the UK. Looking primarily at energy technology, in early 2015 BUPA invited several EPC contractors to tender for their framework to deliver the work for LED lighting, CHP’s and solar PV across over 140 sites by the end of August. Initially tendering to install solar PV on two pilot sites within EvoEnergy’s region (designated by BUPA), EvoEnergy were successfully awarded one site – Altham Court. Altham Court is a single site care home based in Lincolnshire with approximately 80 beds.
