Brands2Life launched a video voting app for the ECB Launching video voting apps for ECB Brands2Life were briefed to build aniticpation and involve the fans ahead of the ECB’s annual player award event, so we built a voting app. We created a Facebook application to showcase a series of video highlights from the past year, which allowed people to vote for their favourites. The app supported the “Twelfth Man” loyalty programme with quality content and helped to build deeper fan engagement via their Facebook page. We built in a “share with friends to vote again” mechanic to encourage viral spread. The campaign was a success; we were the highest traffic referrer to ECB during campaign period. 1,000 plus people voted and over 5,000 people enjoyed the highlights.
