Brands2Life launch King's Candy Crush Cookbook with Frances Quinn King: Showstopping Bakes CHALLENGE Our brief from King was to launch the debut cookbook from Candy Crush Saga: Candy Crush Cakes & Bakes. Inspired by key features of the mobile game, a key objective was to raise awareness amongst lifestyle media, generate excitement around the launch and ultimately encourage people to purchase the book ahead of the Christmas period. APPROACH Capitalising on the popularity of the Great British Bake Off, we teamed up with 2013 series winner, Frances Quinn, to launch the cookbook. We held an exclusive bake-along event for media in Central London, where Frances demonstrated how to recreate one of the bakes from the book – The Booster Wheel Cake.
