Testconsult was commissioned in May 2009  to monitor the movement of the base of a  waste water storage tank in Blackpool. The  tank was extremely large, measuring 40m  deep  30m  diameter  and  located  under- ground.  There was concern that the con- crete  base  of  the  storage  tank  could  be  moving  down  under  the  pressure  of  40m  head of water above.  The region was also  considered to be an explosive environment.   Testconsult  de
