The challenge was to achieve the required levels of the drainage within a tight timeframe. WHAT WE DID Stobart Rail & Civils were contracted to carrying out 330 metres of cess and 6 feet drainage on the ECM7 on the down main between 28 miles 460 yards to 28 miles 867 yards on 110mph track. The work was carried out over a 36-hour weekend block with a further two weeks to set up and de-mobilise the site.
