Case Study Abandoned Reserves Recovered in Eagle Ford Challenge A major operator in the Eagle Ford began a well recovery program to re- activate over 30 wells that stopped producing due to compromised well integrity (leaks). Well diagnostics’ results indicated there was an increase in annular pressure between the production and intermediate casing strings. The operator wanted to perf and squeeze cement in the annulus to restore well integrity, but had to perf the production casing multiple times to obtain proper isolation.
