A Comprehensive Technology Plan
Founded in 1888, Scranton is a nationally recognized Catholic and Jesuit university in Penn- sylvania’s Pocono Mountains region. The University off ers 61 undergraduate and 25 graduate programs to approximately 6,000 students. The Loyola Science Cen- ter is designed to serve as the new home for all the natural sciences research and instruction at the University of Scranton. While its primary purpose is to house the existing Biology, Chemistry, Com- puter Sciences, Mathematics, and Physics/EE departments and pro- grams currently associated with these departments, it is designed to serve as a center for collabo- rative learning for all members of the campus and community.
