The proposed design recognises the importance of the setting within the West End close to Hyde Park and Green Park; the site forming part of an entry point into Mayfair and passed along via a prominent route to and from the new Crossrail station at Bond Street toward Grosvenor Square and into the surrounding commercial and retail heart of Mayfair.
