Wylie is identified as a fast growth district by growing more than 11,100 students since 2000 (a 243% increase). This has been an exciting and challenging time for Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Operations, Michele Trongaard. Projecting expenditures was difficult, especially with over 84% of the budget comprised of salaries and benefits.
