At the 2019 Achievers Customer Experience (ACE) conference, CHROs and HR leaders discussed the evolving future of employee engagement. The panelists highlighted the shift from a hierarchical employee-employer relationship to a more collaborative partnership. Companies must foster engagement by aligning employee experiences with corporate values, using data for people management, and focusing on interconnectedness, especially for remote employees. Recognizing contributions, leveraging technology, and treating employees like customers were identified as key strategies to boost engagement, retention, and overall organizational success.
