Introduction The United States mental health crisis and its impact is something we’ve seen across headlines more heavily in recent years. Yet, of the 50 million Americans currently suffering from a mental health issue, 55% of adults (more than 28 million people) with a mental illness receive no treatment according to Mental Health America. When looking at youth mental health, it’s estimated that 31.9% of adolescents have an anxiety disorder. What’s more, 1 in every 3 American adults is now actively living with depression, as the mental health crisis across the country continues to worsen each year.
