Red River’s HBCU Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Scholarship provides full funding for 20 students from historically black colleges and universities to receive IT training and certification. The program, part of Red River’s Cisco Networking Academy, includes three courses: Introduction to Networks, Switching and Routing Essentials, and Enterprise Networking, Security, and Automation. Students gain hands-on experience in configuring, troubleshooting, and securing networks while learning about IPv4/IPv6, wireless, and automation technologies. The initiative supports workforce diversity and prepares participants for high-demand IT careers with average salaries of $75,000 per year.
