Fidelis Network Web Sensor is a web proxy security sensor that integrates with ICAP or secure S-ICAP compatible network devices and web proxies to prevent threats and data loss in proxied web requests and replies, including encrypted traffic that the proxy decrypts. It analyzes all received web content using Fidelis threat intelligence and the Malware Detection Engine (signatures, heuristics, sandboxing, and machine learning) to identify malware, malicious attachments, and data leakage in real time, then instructs the proxy to either block the session or redirect users to informative, customizable policy violation pages to improve user experience and reduce support calls.
