Nearly all organizations expect an identity-related compromise, with developers holding excessive privileges and machine identities expanding risk. Credential theft remains the top concern, while 93% anticipate AI-powered threats, especially malware. Workforce churn, economic instability, and skill gaps further weaken defenses. Business-critical apps are most at risk, yet only 46% have proper controls. CyberArk recommends a Zero Trust, risk-based approach with identity at the core to reduce exposure and strengthen resilience.
