Latin America saw the steepest rise with a 31.8% increase in fraud rates. Fraudsters target the deposit stage most, followed by onboarding, withdrawals, and in-game activity. AI-generated fake documents and deepfake fraud have become mainstream tactics, encountered by 78% of operators, with Brazil as a deepfake hotspot. Average verification times have improved, helping operators enhance onboarding speed, conversion, and pass rates through innovations like Non-Doc Verification, Reusable KYC, and Sumsub ID.
