A survey of over 445 managers and HR professionals revealed that while 56% had some remote work experience pre-pandemic, 73% shifted to remote work due to social distancing. Many organizations were somewhat prepared, with 65% already using necessary technologies. Employers helped employees adapt by offering equipment, ergonomic training, and stipends for home office setup. Despite challenges, including social isolation and workspace safety, remote work is likely here to stay, emphasizing the need for proactive planning and ergonomic support.
