Radware’s Quarterly DDoS and Application Attack Report for Q3 2021 reveals that web security events blocked by Radware’s Cloud WAF Service doubled every quarter for the first three quarters of 2021. In Q3 alone, the service blocked approximately 2.1 million security events per customer per quarter, averaging around 700,000 blocked events per month per customer. These events include automatically detected known vulnerabilities but exclude custom rules added by managed services or customers. The majority of blocked web security events originated from the United States and Russia, with India, the United Kingdom, and Germany also among the top sources.
