The report reveals that many organizations have bolstered their IR capabilities, with more enterprises establishing Security Operations Centers (SOCs) and dedicated incident response teams. Notably, 36% of organizations now have 10 or more staff dedicated to IR, up from 28% in 2022. Despite these improvements, challenges remain, including end-user training, incident scoping, and patch management. The report also highlights that threat volumes have surged, with 38% of enterprises experiencing 25 or more security incidents in the past year.
