HCLS organizations face rising data risks driven by rapid AI adoption, cloud expansion and emerging quantum threats. Charts on pages 3 and 4 show strong concern about fast-moving AI ecosystems, key distribution and future decryption of sensitive data. Nearly half of cloud data is sensitive, yet few encrypt most of it, and 27 percent struggle to even locate their data. Page 5 highlights a major drop in breaches, linked to growing MFA use. Still, complex API-based architectures, secrets management gaps and limited PQC readiness leave exposure. The report urges tighter data-centric security to support AI, sovereignty and resilience.
