2023 RSA ID IQ Report Human Capability, AI Potential, and the Future of Cybersecurity
The 2023 RSA ID IQ Report, based on a survey of over 2,350 respondents in 90 countries, highlights critical gaps in identity security knowledge. Nearly half of participants answered at least half the questions incorrectly, with 65% of IAM experts failing to identify best practices for reducing phishing. Sixty-four percent could not select identity components needed for zero trust, and 65% of users admitted to reusing passwords across accounts. Unmanaged devices remain prime attack targets, while fragmented solutions increase costs, with password resets averaging $70 and driving help desk demand. Despite this, 91% believe AI can enhance identity security.
