The FireMon and Pulse survey of 139 retail IT security leaders in North America and EMEA reveals accelerating cloud adoption and the growing importance of automation and Zero Trust. Over 50% plan to implement security orchestration within two years, and 98% have automated policies to some extent. Eighty-one percent are adopting Zero Trust for secure access and cloud transition, while most are investing in SASE to reduce cost and complexity. Despite progress, 58% report friction between development and security, slowing app delivery and compliance. With 85% planning to invest in Network Security Policy Management, automation and integration are essential for agility and risk reduction.
