Security Made Smart and Simple
The report analyzes the global impact of the Apache Log4j vulnerability using data from the NSFOCUS Threat Intelligence Center. It found that affected IPs were distributed worldwide, with the highest concentrations in China, the United States, and Europe. Within a week of discovery, over 3,700 IPs exploited Log4j, and 16% of monitored customer environments were attacked. Attack activity peaked on day ten and then declined as defenses improved. About 69% of malicious IPs had prior attack histories, with many using proxy, cloud, or mobile networks to hide origins. NSFOCUS provided real-time threat intelligence to detect and mitigate these global cyber threats.
