Jellyfish’s Enterprise Software/SaaS benchmarks show that companies using an Engineering Management Platform (EMP) reallocated 29% more resources to growth and innovation while cutting unplanned work by 54%. Compared to other industries, enterprise firms spend more on infrastructure and KTLO but slightly less on innovation. They tend to move issues slower, with fewer PRs merged, less collaboration, and longer cycle times. However, with EMPs, performance improves significantly, including a 21% increase in issues resolved, 19% more PRs merged, 13% more reviews, and a 12% reduction in cycle times, boosting productivity and quality.
