Forter’s global data from Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2023 shows $6B in GMV processed for 36 million shoppers across 239 countries. Average order values rose year-over-year: North America reached $144, APAC $118, and EMEA $100. Beauty, apparel, and footwear led in transaction volume. Mobile shopping continued to surge, and 30% of traffic came from new customers already known to Forter. Fraud attempts also evolved, with fraudsters adopting more sophisticated tactics during peak holiday activity.
