About 44% experienced breaches and 19% faced ransomware incidents. Impacts included recovery costs, productivity loss, and brand damage. Multi-factor authentication use reached 79%, but 51% remain concerned about remote work risks. Only 28% fully know where their data is stored, and 62% said most of their cloud data is sensitive. Encryption is the top protection tool, while 21% have formal Zero Trust strategies and 26% are planning adoption.
