Multicloud adoption is widespread, with 73% using multiple PaaS providers, 65% using over 26 SaaS apps, and 57% using multiple IaaS providers. Yet, 66% find hybrid security challenging, and encryption remains limited, with 55% encrypting less than half of their sensitive cloud data. Only 16% use MFA for most cloud services. Security teams primarily manage cloud policies, and leading protection tools include encryption, DLP, and access management.
