The Lion King - Case Study The Introduction Based on the original 1994 Walt Disney film, The Lion King has grown to become one of the most popular musicals to ever be produced with over 65 million people across the globe enjoying the action packed musical. The UK version of the musical, performed at the Lyceum Theatre in London, has ran since 1999 and is now one of the longest running shows to ever perform in the infamous West End. The Requirements Workwear Express were approached by Lyceum Theatre to produce a number of embroidered aprons that would be worn by the various hospitality staff during the UK tour of The Lion King musical.
