In 2008 the Government of Rwanda committed to establishing the Workforce Development Authority (WDA) which is an institutional framework to provide a strategic response to the skills development challenges facing the country across all sectors of the economy. In February 2011 the WDA, through the process of International Competitive Tendering, awarded a contract to EduTeq to provide Equipment, Installation and Basic Training for vocational training services in the discipline of Automotive Engineering.
