Case Study – Wates Construction Client: Wates Construction Location: 60 Commercial Road, E1 Background: The Wates Group is one of the largest privately-owned construction, development and property services companies in the UK. We were invited to tender on a project to design and manufacture ‘high end’ student accommodation. The requirement was for 415 Studio rooms all with kitchenettes, including the white goods. All deliveries had to be completed on Saturday with some 1,200 panels being delivered each week. The project was completed over a 6 month period and involved a high level of dedicated project management as well as a need to be able to incorporate a large degree of flexibility in production schedules due to constant shifts in site conditions.
