CASE STUDY Warwickshire County Council It’s important that both health and social care services have a clear approach to supporting people with dementia, their families and their carers.Challenge Last year, Warwickshire County Council implemented a Dementia Awareness Programme. With a budget of £15.000, their learning solution was made up of a two day face-to-face / classroom based session. They were able to run 20 sessions, which allowed 400 people to participate in the programme. This resulted in a total of 800 days away from the office at a cost of £37.50 per person.
