Lin International (TYLI) has provided planning, engineering, and in-house staff support, to the City of Chicago’s Bicycle Program within the Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) since 1997. Most recently, TYLI fulfilled Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s goal to install 100 miles of protected and buffered bicycle lanes in four years. TYLI developed Phase I planning studies, Phase II engineering design drawings and conducted Phase III construction services for the implementation of new, innovative on-street bikeways, including protected bike lanes, buffered bike lanes, and neighborhood greenways.
