Lin International (TYLI) provided Resident Engineering Inspection (REI) for this New York City (NYC) project for the NYC Department of Design and Construction (DDC). The project consisted of the milling of sections of existing roadway wearing pavement course to prepare them for resurfacing and maintain suitable gutter line grades and curb reveals to facilitate stormwater runoff. The REI team oversaw daily site inspection activities, reviewed contractor’s submittals and schedules, coordinated contractor payment package paperwork, provided site safety audits to ensure a safe work environment for pedestrian and vehicular traffic, and performed other administrative duties as needed.
