T. Y . Lin International Group | Projects | Hledan Flyover T. Y . Lin International (TYLI) was selected by Shwe Taung Development Company to provide design and seismic analysis services for a new, four-lane elevated flyover. Built to alleviate severe traffic congestion in the busy, fast-growing city of Yangon, the flyover, which runs along Pyay Road, has a total length of close to 500 meters (1640 feet) and crosses Hledan Junction, a major, five-arm intersection located in the heart of Yangon. Because the flyover is located at the center of the city and serves as a vital part of the city’s landscape, visual aesthetics of the structure was a top priority for TYLI design engineers.
