Twin Alternating Water Softener Unit In August 2013, Pure Aqua designed and manufactured a twin alternating water softener unit with 24” FRP tanks, 24” and 50” brine tank and Fleck top mounted valve for a major company in Costa Rica. Feed water to the softener was city water. Its purpose was to lower the hardness in the water to drinking standards. Each softener produced 56,000 GPD.
