AHI uses a converted cottage, known as the Bistro, as a company canteen and this building has a central heating system with 11 radiators. A Vortex was plumbed into the radiator return pipe to the combi boiler such that it could either be part of the system or it could be bypassed simply by adjusting three valves. The system has been run with and without the Vortex for periods of a week at a time. AHI supplied data for four tests conducted over four weeks.
