The app used DigiD for authentication and OCR for scanning invoices, ensuring compliance and data security. Initially targeting 70,000 downloads, it surpassed one million users by 2021, processing over two million claims with a 4.6-star rating. Thales’ secure single sign-on reduced costs and improved user experience. Continuous updates added features like a secure inbox and real-time copay tracking, establishing VGZ’s app as a key channel for customer engagement and innovation.
