Traditional Inspiration, Modern Execution Taking its inspiration from traditional Arabic markets, the Deira Islands Night Souk will cover a 15.3 sqm site on a man-made island group in Dubai. When completed, the souk will be the biggest night market in the world. Developed by Nakheel PJSC, the Deira mixed-use project includes four man-made islands that will add 40km of coastline to Dubai. The Deira Island Night Souk’s 5,300 shops are already fully leased and the complex will also include 96 quayside cafés and restaurants, accessible by both road and water. Kingspan UAE supplied the roong system for the installation contractors for the domed buildings in the souk.
