Topwin Center & InterContinental Beijing Sanlitun A Tower Design with Distinctive Day and Night Appeal Situated in the Sanlitun district, a trendy cultural and creative hub of Beijing, the InterContinental Sanlitun distinguishes itself as a modern landmark. The project includes a 305-key InterContinental Hotel, 48 luxury apartments and a 430,555-sq.-ft. boutique retail mall. Challenged by a narrow site, HOK designers drafted a tapered silhouette at the two ends of the tower with a linear silhouette at the building’s core. Theresulting form creates a dramatic exterior that offers uninterrupted panoramic views for hotel guests.
