Thistle Platform - NORM Decontamination Location: Thistle Platform, North Sea Removal of 20 tonnes NORM (LSA) contaminated sand contained within two vessels onboard the Thistle Platform. Sureclean Scope Sureclean were contracted to remove a total of 20 tonnes of NORM (LSA) contaminated sand contained within two vessels onboard the Thistle Platform. This was followed by the decontamination and cutting of internal furniture, removing items which could not be decontaminated within the tank. Items were then double bagged and removed from the vessel for cleaning within Sureclean's NORM decontamination unit.
