Operating theatres are at the forefront of this twin dilemma. One of the most costly assets to maintain, but also an area where innovation is expected as standard - they are a make-or-break area for many Trusts. This case study looks at how QlickiT have supported Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trusts to maximise operating theatre value. ISSUES: CANCELLATIONS With each session needing perfect staff, patient and equipment readiness to perform to plan, there were too many operations being cancelled.
