The University of Mary Washington (UMW) enjoys a rich history and has been named among the nation’s top-rated public universities by several publications. In 2005, UMW engaged NORESCO to identify ways to conserve energy in its daily operations and to meet the requirements of the Governor’s Executive Order. Under the 14-year guaranteed energy savings contract, NORESCO identified 8 ECMs that included lighting, water and heating system improvements.
