The Six Senses Duxton boutique hotel lies in Tanjong Pagar, the central district of the island state and the heart of Chinatown. The hotel combines a row of historic commercial houses, which have been sustainably restored under the guidance of the renowned British designer, Anouska Hempel. The original design of this building, with an award from the Urban Redevelopment Authority Architectural Heritage, is characterised by a varied mixture of Chinese, Malaysian and European elements.
