We are keen to offer stimulation to reduce boredom and to help reduce the risk of falls with the hospital. The Solution We introduced the My Improvement Network technology into our Acute Dementia Ward as a way of creating interest and stimulating our patients. Families had reported that they felt their relative appeared bored, so we wanted to look at ways to alleviate this. The software has many features including 3 minute video clips from the BBC and music by decade and genre.
