The Government of Yukon Whitehorse Corridor of the Alaska Highway Connected Participants Project Scope Key Analytics As the City of Whitehorse’s population increases, highway improvements are necessary to address safety and congestion concerns, accomodate pedestrians and cyclists, and enhance the multi-use trail systems that parallels sections of the highway. To provide detailed proposals, the Whitehorse corridor was divided into 10 segments which prioritized immediate, medium and long term needs.
