Challenge Working in a very restrictive area, minimal surface prep- aration, extreme weather conditions, high humidity and limited timescale, combined with working in a tidal zone. Solution Primer coat of Epo-chemTM RS 500P solvent-free, wet tolerant epoxy @ 150µ and a topcoat of Epo-chemTM RA 500M solvent-free, wet tolerant system @ 250µ by brush and roller. Outcome The major technical benefits offered by utilizing this system assured the client that the work was carried out safely, on time and with no major delays, despite severe weather conditions during the application.
