The £17 million building provides a three-storey space for a new central library, as well as performance and teaching spaces, offices and cafe. PBA carried out Level 3 BIM on the project for the structural and MEP design, in conjunction with architects BBlur and CZWG. The steel-framed structure curves on plan and elevation, providing a sympathetic backdrop to the listed church in front, with steel composite floors at each level.
