Thailand (Chon Buri) Weigh-In-Motion Project Description: Chon Buri IRD Double Threshold Bending Plate® SiteIRD supplied and installed a High Speed Virtual Weigh Station System (VWSS) approximately 60 minutes south-east of Bangkok on the Bang Na – Chon Buri expressway. The VWSS is a two-lane double-threshold IRD Bending Plate system capable of monitoring gross vehicle weights and providing vehicle classication. Vehicles are classied in accordance with the Thailand vehicle classication system. Chon Buri IRD Single Load Cell Weigh-In-Motion Site IRD supplied Single Load Cell (SLC) weigh-in-motion (WIM) systems that the client used in a weigh station application.
