PisaMo, the urban mobility authority in Pisa, collaborated with Deloitte to implement a smart city traffic management system using SAP Leonardo IoT and SAP Cloud Platform. This system integrates IoT devices and eight years of historical data to provide real-time monitoring and proactive traffic management. The unified control center enables visualization of sensor data, real-time traffic insights, and direct interaction with traffic control systems. The solution improves traffic flow, supports scenario planning, and enhances management efficiency in Pisa, which serves 450,000 residents and 4 million annual tourists.
